Earning Points

How do I earn points?

You earn points for work-related airfare and hotel reservations charged to your Advisory Board credit card. Travel must be in policy and expensed on time (within 90 days) to be eligible for any points.

How can I review my earning history?

Go to the  My Points page to view your earning history .  Here you can review all transactions, and associated point value. If you think there is an error, please contact travelupdates@advisory.com for additional assistance.

Please note: only expensed transactions are eligible for points.

Can I transfer my points to another employee?

No, points transfers are not allowed in the new Advisory Travel Rewards program.    

Why didn't I get points for my flight?

Full points are earned on flights when the flight transaction is expensed in less than 60 days. Any flight transaction expensed after 60 days will receive a maximum of 50% of the possible points. Any flight transaction expensed after 90 days will not be eligible for points.    

The good news is that for any flight booked more than seven days in advance of the departure date, you get 400 bonus points. That is 400 bonus points on top of the 1point/2mile point earnings!    

 



Shopping the Store

Can I Exchange my Points for Cash?

No. Points have no cash value and cannot be purchased or sold.

Why isn't "x" vendor available in the catalog?

We attempted to offer a selection of gift cards that would appeal to a wide range of tastes. Our hope is that there is something for everyone! We will regularly update the catalog based on your feedback. If there is a vendor you would like to see listed, please let us know by emailing travelupdates@advisory.com

Please note: We are unable to issue prepaid credit cards (i.e. MasterCard/Visa/American Express gift cards).

Why are gift cards more expensive than other items?

Giftcards are more expensive because we are able to offer HealthyLife products and Community Impact donations at a discounted price, therefore, the gift cards appear more expensive. If you want to get the deal and do some good, check out the HealthyLife products and the Community Impact organizations that you can support.


 

Donations for Community Impact

Is my donation tax deductable?

No. All redemptions made through the rewards program are tax free to the recipient. Therefore, are ineligible for a tax deduction.

How did you select the non-profit organizations featured?

The Community Impact team looks for organizations in our local communities that are well-loved and actively supported by you, and your colleagues. If you’re interested in suggesting an organization please email communityimpact@advisory.com.


 

Purchases and Orders

Can I return an order if I change my mind?

No. Gift Cards and donations are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged once purchased. 

How will I receive my giftcard?

Your gift card will be shipped to the address you provide, unless an electronic gift card is available. Electronic gift cards will be sent to your work email to allow for faster delivery. 

When will my order arrive?

You will receive your order within three weeks. 

How do I track my order?

Unfortunately we cannot provide tracking information at this time. If you have not received your order after two weeks, please email travelupdates@advisory.com for a status update.
